With this activity the CAC promotes the arbitration on Mipymes bussinessmen (micro, small and medium size corporations). Is our strategy to make the arbitration a tool for conflict resolution in that kind of corporations too, to diffuse the benefits of the arbitration and also as a corporate social responsibility action.

"Hermes" is the Program for School Conflict Management of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá. Is a pedagogical proposal that offers the tools and develops the social skills in teenagers, to transform the school conflicts based in alternative disputes resolution methods. (ADR)

?Hermes? participated in the World Chambers Competition organized by the World Chambers Federation. This competition was created to show the different experiences around the world and recognize the most innovative and impacting. Hermes was one of the 5 finalists among 72 competitors.

Within the internationalization plan of the CAC, a strategy was developed some years ago which has been constantly strengthen and improved in order to obtain results on a shorter term and to position the CAC as a worldwide leader. Thanks to this strategy, more doors have opened and we have had more and better opportunities.

The School of International Arbitration, continuing with its activities and in order to create spaces of training and discussion on international arbitration, presents the First Course on Investment Arbitration which starts this september 30th.

We have the expectative of being even more successful than the 2010'sCourses on International Commercial Arbitration.

The Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá and Fundación Solventia, with the support of CAF (Corporación Andina de Fomento), have been established since January 2010th the School of International Arbitration.

The School has as purpose to train Latinamerican lawyers in international arbitration, with a worldwide view and to consolidate a team of arbitrators in this area of the world that can move forward, as a block, in this matter.
